Ryan was via skype in the program ‘Office Hour Live’ to wish the birthday to Vic Berger.

Ryan is now in Vancouver where he is doing the corresponding quarantine before filming the series ‘Big Sky’.

Ryan has started filming his new series ‘The Big Sky’ and has shared some images on IG.

Back on a set for the first time in 5 months. In spite of the protocols and necessary precautions, it was nice to be filming something. The crew was on point and persevered through the limitations of their PPE and distancing. We all felt safe. Big Sky: ABC Orders David E. Kelley Thriller Series for Fall 2020

ABC is heading to Montana. The network just announced they’ve ordered a new TV show called Big Sky.

From David E. Kelley, the thriller follows “private detectives Cassie Dewell and Cody Hoyt [who] join forces with his estranged wife and ex-cop, Jenny Hoyt, to search for two sisters who have been kidnapped by a truck driver on a remote highway in Montana.” The cast includes Kylie Bunbury, Katheryn Winnick, Brian Geraghty, Dedee Pfeiffer, Natalie Alyn Lind, Jesse James Keitel, John Carroll Lynch, and Ryan Phillippe.

Private detectives Cassie Dewell and Cody Hoyt join forces with his estranged wife and ex-cop, Jenny Hoyt, to search for two sisters who have been kidnapped by a truck driver on a remote highway in Montana. But when they discover that these are not the only girls who have disappeared in the area, they must race against the clock to stop the killer before another woman is taken. Ryan Phillippe joins drama series ‘The Big Sky’

Ryan Phillippe has been tapped for a major role in The Big Sky, ABC’s straight-to-series drama created and executive produced by David E. Kelley. The project, based on The Highway, the first book in C.J. Box’s Cassie Dewell series of novels, hails from A+E Studios, which will produce in association with 20th Century Fox Television, part of Disney TV Studios.

Written by Kelley, The Big Sky is a procedural thriller in which private detective Cassie Dewell partners with ex-cop Jenny Hoyt on a search for two sisters who have been kidnapped by a truck driver on a remote highway in Montana. When they discover that these are not the only girls who have disappeared in the area, they must race against the clock to stop the killer before another woman is taken.

Phillippe will play Cody Hoyt, a well-meaning ex-cop turned private investigator working at his Helena, Montana, firm. Married to but separated from fellow ex-cop, Jenny Hoyt, his life becomes complicated when he’s asked to help find his son’s missing girlfriend.
